She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995 and was named Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in France in 2005.
Despite her success in Hollywood, stone has always had an inclination towards art. As a child, she took painting lessons and later pursued studies in painting and literature, she recalls cherished memories of visiting global museums privately. The pandemic rekindled her passion for painting; starting with a paint-by-numbers kit, she soon dedicated a studio on her property to her craft, painting daily.
Stone’s artworks include notable pieces like "Shedding (2023)" – an acrylic artwork featuring translucent, snake-like coils against a black background – and "The River (2022)" – an emotional piece commemorating her late nephew's journey, showcasing a river leading towards a multi-mooned sky. Stone rejects the notion of being confined to a particular "lane", hinting that perhaps painting might be her true calling.
