ANAÏS NIN
In honor of International Women’s Month, Gallery 33 at The Georgian is thrilled to pay tribute to literary icon Anaïs Nin through an exhibition presented by The Anaïs Nin Foundation and Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions. Hosted by Brandon Milbradt and Tree Wright.
The show will feature a selection of never-before-seen archival pieces from The Anaïs Nin Foundation, alongside unique artworks by a group of emerging and established female artists inspired by Nin’s legacy. Featuring rare artifacts, personal memorabilia, and never-before-seen original works by American novelist Henry Miller, the estate of Anaïs Nin offers for a limited time, a rare and captivating glimpse of her life and literary contribution. A pioneering voice in the exploration of sensuality, identity, and freedom, Nin’s enduring influence continues to inspire generations of artists and writers alike, including the exhibition’s contributing artists Michelle Magdalena, Amanda Maciel Antunes, Colette Standish, Javiera Estrada, Chloe Strang, and Leonie Bischoff.
